The first nail bracelet was conceived by Cartier's in-house Designer, Aldo Cipullo -- created in the 1970's for Cartier New York...shortly after he designed the Cartier Love bracelet, which has become one of Cartier's most iconic collections. Mr. Cipullo's work was inspired by his philosophy of life and changing lifestyles -- he designed for the moment while thinking of tomorrow. Cartier has always shared the same philosophy -- with every design we create, it must stand the test of time and look just as relevant 100 years from now as it does today. Raw, daring and ahead of its time -- the bracelet echoed the spirit of New York City. Inspired by simply a nail, the bracelet continues to represent beauty in its most pure form. This June, Cartier will launch a new jewelry collection reminiscent of that original nail design -- Juste un Clou. The collection is comprised of bracelets and rings in 18k yellow, rose and while gold, with and without pave diamonds.
